Setting Free

"Setting Free" is a project about life after divorce. How can you let go of the situation and find yourself while staying dead inside?
The love is gone, but the pain remains. And the older you get, the harder it is to heal.
A few months after the project ended, the man in these photos contacted me. He thanked me and said his life had improved and he felt more confident. That's when I realized that photography can be healing.
